    No duh the graphics aren't bad, it's a DX10 game, -.-

    Why would there be a patch for an add-on for DX10? It should come with the game already. I don't think DX10 is one of those things that can be added through a patch.

    DX10 is supposed to be integrated into the game, but interviews by the developers say that the intention of the DX10 path is to push the limits of the 8800 series. It wasn't designed with performance or mid-range DX10 GPUs in mind. A review of the demo put the 320MB 8800GTS at 33fps at 1280x1024 on the DX9 codepath with DX10 being 30% slower. Massive said their goal is to get DX10 performance up to DX9 level with the 320MB 8800GTS being the recommended minimum for the DX10 path.
