That is a brand new game, and looking at the graphics samples I'm seeing in my Internet searches...well, I'll put it this way.

It might run, it might not. The X3100 is not a gaming card, and I'd wager that either the card will barely run the game at the lowest settings or that it will not work at all.

Not sure about the game but my friend is playing it on High resolution and High settings on his 8800GTS and he says it just spikes every once in a while.

The x3100 is a basic non-gaming graphics chipset, so I don't know how bad it'll run.

thats not playble, any card can just run a game, you said you averaged 6-9fps, how is that playbable? i know world in conflict still runs smoothly at low frames but thats abysmal, low frames being 15-20+

Mind you, being the type of game that it is, framerate below 20 will still be somewhat playable.

Yes, the x3100 will run WIC, though you'll have to experiment to get the best OS and driver combination for it.

It will run but don't expect any eye candy or the pretty destruction you would expect on high end machines.

It will only run on Vista systems. That's about the only advantage Vista drivers have over XP for the X3000/X3100. On XP, WIC just gives WinXP bluescreen.

10 is my personal limit for it. It's annoying under that but still playable until about 5. 12-15 is great imo.

Even though the official minimum is the GF6600 128MB, my GF6600 128 was able to stand a Low-Medium at 1024x768 so...

WIC is a hog. I was only getting around 10fps on my A8Js at 1280x800 mid/low detail.

wic is a demanding game. its suppose to be visually stunning so playing it with a good card would be much more fun. 8600gt no prob.

intel x3100 no way, and there will be ALOT of artillery barrages in the game. 5-7fps is a joke and cant be considered playable.

for the ati x1270 though you can play it on low- medium settings and get a minimum of 25fps, max of 40fps, theres a test in the game that will help you get the optimal settings.

I'm with Lokster on this one. There's no way I can enjoy a game when it's 5 to 7 FPS. In my book, "playable" means 30 FPS or higher for online play (when FPS really matters), and 20 FPS or higher for campaign modes.

The bump wasn't totally irrelevant. Someone wanted to know the WIC performance on the new 15.9 x3100 drivers. Better than starting a new thread for it in my opinion.

I agree, theres a good discussion going on, its better than starting a whole new one. The game stutters, thats the issue, its 15FPS or so for a while, then explosion happens and its down to sub-10 FPS. I didnt find that playable, i wish i had more tolerance, because people who do are enjoying it.
