    Just got a new Sony Vaio FE890 w/ a GeForce Go 7400.

I'm playing WoW with all my settings on high without any issues. I get about 30-60fps. However, when I switch to Windowed Mode.. things slow down drastically. I get about 10-33fps. (usually on the low end)

Is there anything I can do beside reducing my settings to improve performance when in Windowed Mode?

Wonder if thats the Aero interface and all the doodads that Vista unloads to your already busy video card..

I'm using the Nvidia drivers which appear to be the same ones used prior to Vista: 7.15.10.9746

from what i hear, Aero is disabled when u play a full screen game. i think im gonna have to agree with sshorkey on this one. try and disable aero all together when u are gonna play a long gaming session. just a suggestion, dont know if it meets ur needs. :D
