I just bought WoW and WoW:BC yesterday and I am new to the game and I have a question.
I know the differences between PVE and PVP but a few things are unclear to me.
1. What realm type is best to start up in?
2. What realm type do most people play?
3. What realm type is funnest to play in?
4. Any tips for a noob?
Thanks guys!

I've heard that Warlocks have a lot of power so you might want to choose that race. Also "funnest" is not a word. Change it to "most fun". I'm sorry, but my language arts teacher has left an imprint on me and now i can't stand seeing bad grammer.

1. Normal, in a PvP realm people can just walk up to you and kill you, and Role-playing is just....lame
2. I would assume normal but i don't know.
3. Again i can't answer that, its personal preference.
4. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Oh and if you decide to do a normal realm go on Elune, my char is Zidan, alliance. -

Warlocks are not bad to play for newbies, cause Warlocks are pure damage no support at all towards everyone else.
1. What realm type is best to start up in?
PVP is the way to go, but if you really want to avoid any conflict with the other side, then, well, PvE is an option.
2. What realm type do most people play?
It varies really. There are alot of realms to choose from.
3. What realm type is funnest to play in?
As mentioned above, each realm has thousands of different players, so its hard to choose.
4. Any tips for a noob?
Have fun, don't take it too seriously -
1. What realm type is best to start up in?
I prefer PvP myself but it may be frustrating to some who don't like getting ganked and corpse camped.
2. What realm type do most people play?
There seems to be more PvE realms than PvP at the moment.
3. What realm type is funnest to play in?
PvP - if you get bored at end-game (which you will), there is always ganking.
4. Any tips for a noob?
Don't rush to end-game and for the love of god, please don't go into battlegrounds when you are at the bottom of the bracket. -

1. What are the best PVR realms?
2. How do you find places? Do you just read the descriptions in the Quests or do you have some sort of direction to go type thing? -
Usually in the quest description they will give you a direction to go like "Visit the inn at Littleholm village to the north".

And another soul is lost to WoW....
I was a maxed out Warlock in the day before all the new stuff came out. I loved the game in the earlier parts but end game when its all about raids and stuff I hated it. It can be great fun if you dont have any real life things to do but if you do its too demanding.
Also I played before and after the battlegrounds stuff, and pvp was much better before that change. You would just be minding you business and suddenly your whole down is under attack and everybody takes up arms trying to defend it. Dead npcs, so you cant finish your quest for like 20min ect...
It felt much like WARCRAFT, where war is random and violent, the battlegrounds and safe grounds change really ruined it tho I think.
If I was to play again, I think I would be a warrior so I can be a loot hog"hey I am a warrior I can use that!" not really, just that a good tank was essential and I always belive if you want the job done right you gotta do it yourself.

Oh, so what is the game like now?
There are still raids right? And you can still be invaded? -
Yeah to both. Its still very active.
