I'm on a very tight budget, I'd like a used notebook to play wow on. Doesn't have to play fantastic, just not crash and go to bad frame rates while a lot of action is happening. I've been checking out Ebay and there seem to be a lot of options for my budget ($350) but not sure which will be enough to play wow. I know I need at least a 2 gig CPU and 512 ram, but the video card since it's not changeable is my big question. I'm trying to stick with a name brand of either Dell, HP, Sony, or IBM.

You don't need a powerhouse to play WoW...... heck, my old Vaio S360 with a Radeon 9700 could handle it pretty well. And I've seen plenty of people with laptops with GMA950 graphics that can play it OK too.

However, at $350, I can't help but think your options are going to be a bit limited, especially if you're also looking to stick to a name brand.

seriously 350 is little bit too low for a "modern" laptop. You will probably spend more than that in order to play WOW smoothly.

My friend got a 1.7ghz core duo, 1 gig ram, integrated GPU for $500. I don't think it gets much cheaper.
