So i'm trying alot of drivers to get the most performance out of my GPU.

The new drivers give me very awful performance, like COD1 UO gave me 30-40fps with newest drivers and when i tried older drivers it sky rocketed to 100+ fps.

What drivers do you guys use for WoW?

I'm currently on 310.70, and in Warlords of Dreanor, Zone Nagrand i'm getting 33-39fps with everything on fair, except shadows and water on low.
And i have resolution set to 1080p, lower res did not gave me alot more fps so i'd rather stick with 1080p.

My CPU is very bad, but i'm looking to upgrade it soon when i get the cash, i did saw a Q9000 for sale for 50 euro wich seems like a huge bargain.

I was playing WoW with a 9600M GT Back in the day. Not a bad card. Can't say I know much about it anymore... (Or it's drivers)
Which laptop are you using? Just beware that some C2D sockets while able to fit a C2Q would not properly boot.

    I'm using a acer aspire 8930g with PM45 chipset.

From what i could gather it could fit a quad core.

This runs WoW very good when i'm in vanilla zones like starter zones, i could even bump the graphics a bit.
But Warlords of Dreanor zones are demanding, maybe cause of higher textures and models wich vanilla zones don't have?

I couldn't test WoW for long, cause my power adapter fails after gaming for 5+ minutes cause it only has 65W and i need a 90W+ i assume?

Do wish i had patience and waited till i could get a Dell 1730 wich had a T9600 i believe and 8800M GTX in SLI.

But i could get this laptop near me so i went for that.

Well i found a Q9000 for 40 euro on ebay, it's located in Germany, so i'll probably have it by Friday. :D

This should increase my FPS by quiet a bit right? WoW is very CPU heavy so i'd thought i get a Q9000.

It should help..T6600 is a pile of junk in comparison.. Hopefully it works without any issues.. I think you'll need to get a bigger PSU too or it will still keep crashing.. Look for a 90W or even 120W one if you can..
