Worms: Reloaded

Well PM me, post here, whatever if you're free to play for a little bit. This is one game that I can run on my netbook just fine and can jump into and out of pretty quickly too. Just have patience though, sometimes I have to bang some heads when my kids get outta hand, which reminds me, wonder if you can pause a multiplayer game?

If only my card's billing address isn't limited to my UK address I'd probably get it by now >w> Damn you Steam for rejecting all my attempts

Has anyone else had issues with Worms crashing, sound issues, etc? I bought the four pack pre-order and sent it to three friends. One is having an issue with the game crashing any time he shoots a weapon.

 

Id send them to the team 17 forums. I knew a few people had issues here and there.

The no sound issue is supposed to be rectified by updating direct x I think.

I would tell them to do that and also see if they have new drivers for there gpu.


This is definitely a game we need more friends on, its very hard to find a public game, the few I played yesterday seemed biased. Like everybody knew each other. There were times where 3 enemy worms would be ontop of each other and yet they would stick dynamite ontop of my one worm instead of the 3 enemy worms. The other half the games I got into the lobby leader was afk or would leave the game soon as I joined like they were waiting for somebody else.

 

Yeah, he updated directx and fixed most of his issues.

And I'm suprised there's not more players online. Great game that plays on pretty much any machine, minus 1024x600 N270 Atom netbooks.

 

i have issues with worms crashing sometimes seemingly at random though. not sure whats causing it but it does manage to completely kill the game for me in the same fashion that fallout 3 does when you die and realize you havent saved in the last 30 mins.

 

I used the June Dist of DX. Prior to that I had no sound and crashed each time I tried to use a weapon. Now that it's updated I havn't noticed any other crashes. Some slight pauses when I use a weapon but only about 1/100 attacks.

It is just for show! But it would still be awesome to have them!

 

I've been experiencing a few issues. Most of them were resolved after manually updating DirectX. Some still remain and it's very frustrating. I put the game on hold since am very busy. I guess, there will be a patch coming...soon.
