The game and why it sux.
The following game sucks:
Red Alert 3
Why:
1) Simply not Red Alert.
2) Choppy 3d engine that will crash your computer, constantly.
3) Bad story, no... worst ever... no, there was no story to tell in the first place!
4) Crappy acting...
5) ANIME and Red Alert doesn't match.
6) The predecessors were actually better.
7) It costed 49€!!!
8) Made by EA![]()
-
This game sucks:
Counter-Strike 1.6
Why:
1) Allmost everyone is cheating.
2) Made by Steam
3) To much whine.
4) To low "Hack security" / VAC. -

Last game that I played that absolutly made me hate myself for spending money on it was the POS that was Shadow Run, so not worth $50, worst online shooter for PC over, you have to pay monthly for gold service just to find a server that didnt lag and had people in it.
Second worst waist of money for me was Hellgate London, it was decent but not worth $50 + monthly fee, but it has probably atleast improved greatly due to updates & patches. -
Warrock.
1) cheaters galore. Apparently they removed punkbuster now for Hackshield.
2) Worst community ever. Kids shouting at each other and flaming even at the slightest excuse
3) Expensive as ****. To play on the full you need about £20 per month
4) Bad bad bad coding
5)P2P which really is a lagathon.
And to be honest i think it has/had great FPS potential. Its fast-paced with arcade-ish style and has looooads of vehicles (which i love). But... -
Need for speed Undercover
1)HDR everywhere, too Bright
2)While its still playable on my machine, it my have a low performance on many other machines
3)Very Cheesy conversations
4)Sound Track Sucks
5)Cops are foolish
6)Prostreet cars recycled -
Hellgate: London Sucks
May it rest in pieces when it shuts down for good on Jan 31.
But, it's Diablo with guns, why would it suck!?
-Subscribing for the pay 2 play level of service was not at all worth it, except to make people complain about the advantages people willing to pay all that extra money got.
-No feeling of in-game community, I am saying this in all honesty when I tell you that after playing for a few days, most of the players I came across didn't even know how to use the ingame chat (it's hidden by default, you have to hit tilde to even know it exists) or how to use the party system still.
-You could never, ever, ever, change your skill tree, and it only took a single bad click to horribly gimp your character build. Hell, anyone who played during the first week or two of release was screwed because there were no decent guides to building a character yet. Not to mention people that got their builds ruined by patches.
-It had several critical bugs on release that took way too long to get patched.
-The gameplay was even more repetetive than Diablo's, and way more repetetive than any decent MMO where you can at least change your build around.
-They tried and failed at making a decent storyline.
-Very little variety in level design and enemies.
-Horrible performance as far as graphics are concerned. -
Farcry 2 -- too repetitive
Warhammer Online -- too repetitive, lacking pve, pvp got boring imo. -
Far Cry 2
Same missions
Weird AI
Did I mention same missions? -
-
Far Cry 2
Too much driving
Ugly Graphics
Cant stand the color pallette. -

Far Cry 2 and Need for Speed Undercover.
-
I simply don't buy/play games that suck.
-
-
1) Fable 2
2) Infinite Undiscovery
3) Last Remnant
All X360 exclusives (except Last Remnant which is timed) and I'm already thinking of selling the console, except Forza 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2 it has absolutely nothing I can't play on my laptop or PS3. -
Unreal Tournament 3
-Laggy on most servers
-Nothing much new from UT 2004
-Less game play modes than 2004 -
Mr._Kubelwagen More machine now than man
Spore
-Disappointing for a Maxis game
-Nothing to do after getting about a week into the space stage
-Cell/Creature/Tribe/Civ stages are too short
-*cough*DRM*cough* -
NFS Undercover
>runs like poop
>looks like poop
>plot is poop
>game play is poop
>so poopy makes pro street god
>ill stop here and say it is in general poop as I could make a list 20 pages long -
Fall out 3 :
-Just not my kind of game.
Need for speed Undercover:
-Cheesy acting
-Graphics are outdated
-To easy
Farcry 2:
-Brown everywhere
-Malaria
-Driving
Red Alert 3:
-Even tho I'm an "otaku", I still find that mixing anime with Ra was a bad idea.
-All money went into the casting instead of the game development ( It seems that way to me )
-Gameplay feels sluggish compared to previous RA titles
Warhammer Online:
I really tried to like this game but after 2 weeks;
-Boring
-Boring
-No social aspects at all
-Subpar PVE
-Scenario's
-Repetitive -
Not a very recent game:
Guildwars
- I'm a big fan of RPGs but this one is sooo repetitive
- Very few people actually interested in the mission, just in the treasure hunting -
hmmm ok if any of you guys dont want fallout 3 anymore... im willing to buy LOL
-
Is Red Alert 3 really so bad? I have been really wanting to pick it up.
I was debating the other day between Left 4 Dead and Red Alert 3. I picked up Left 4 Dead which is amazing. That's sad about RA3 been waiting for it, I think I will wait for the bargain bin for that one.
My pick would have to be Far Cry 2, the game isn't a total disaster, but for the crime of being a console game thinly disguised as a PC game and AI to quote Yahtzee that is indeed "Pants on head retarded" with a replayability of 0 for a $50 game. DookieSoft can go to Hell. -
Far Cry 2
I tried to like it, but it was just so repetitive. drive, eliminate check point, drive, eliminate random car, drive, mission, kill convoy (assassinate, clear oasis ect), drive.
Thats really it. -
-
Prey
- awful game in so many ways
Assassins Creed
- repetition is an art form in this game. -
COD4
-Not the worst
-Just overrated
-I was done with it in about a week
-This includes multi-player -
Rise and Fall of Civ
there are far better RTSes out there. THis one has too small of a fanbase and the unit balance is garbage. -
Worst game ? Spore. Unquestioned leader. Expensive then lousy RTS with ugly DRM.
Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is close second.
Far Cry 2 is high on the list but it's position is to be reviewed yet. -
C&C3: Kane's Wrath
I guess fixing the myriad of plotholes before even attempting to fix the balance with new factions was too much to ask. Or how about some interesting campaign missions that actually serve a purpose? The new features aren't exactly mind blowing either, so it was a huge disappointment for me overall.
I'm still eying Red Alert 3 with a lot of skepticism -
Spores. DRM FTL and the space stage is very annoying
WOW. Subscriptions fees, and the task can be very annoying. Very repetitive.
I'll stick with the free games from MS. hold'em -
And whoever doesn't like Fallout.. wwhhhaAaAaAAAaTTTT? It's like Oblivion, but after the apocalypse with mutants running around with huge guns. And V.A.T.S.?
Worst Game Recently..
Fable 2, simply because I devoted 20 hours to the game, I didn't finish the story quest, and now my save simply won't load. It should let you have multiple saves in case something stupid like that happens. It's a fun game and all, but it's much too glitchy to be considered a full game. -
I really have been playing some good ones.
I don't actually think it's the worst game out there, I just think it's overrated. I just got bored. I almost entirely maxed out my levels and everyone always wants to play maps I don't care for. i.e. killhouse, aka die every 3 seconds from nade spam.
I've been playing a lot of Fallout 3 and recently, Left 4 Dead.
Honestly, valve killed Left 4 Dead for me by not including all the campaigns in versus. If more versus maps aren't added soon, I'm done...until they make more. -
Thund3rball I dont know, I'm guessing
Stalker: SOC
Just couldn't get into it, too slow. FC2 is much better imo.
Seems I am noticing a pattern with FC2 and AC. Both are open world games and every comment is "too repetitive". So is everyone going to hail the next rail shooter as the holy grail or complain with "needs more open word", lol.
On the bright side I see I will be able to pick up Fallout 3 for cheapy used just like FC2!
AC, yes repetitive. The sequel would be smart to take more advantage of stealth assassinations on your main targets and offer a little variety in missions. -
World of Warcraft
The game isn't even fun; I play it anyway because Blizzard hired sorcerers to get everyone addicted to it. -
Civilization IV: Colonization. Whilst offering more features, there's actually fewer ways to go about winning than the original. Which is symptomatic of a bit of a disaster when a game released well over 10 years later has less appeal than that VGA graphics original.
-
need for speed undercover was crap.
-
-
Red_Dragon Notebook Nobel Laureate
brother in arms : Double time for wii.....*shudders*
-
-
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Bad camera
sticky controls
lame light saber (why even have one in the game if it's not going to take limbs off?)
Less of a game and more of a poorly executed tech demo really. -
-
Age of Conan -
Space Siege
Reasons:
Expected much better after playing Dungeon Siege.
Way too demanding on systems and graphics were very poor.
Guns and Diablo-Like RPGs don't work. -
Hmm I suppose chalk another one up for Farcry 2. Not a horrible game, but I'd say its the worst one I've played recently.
-
Gothic 3
I love RPGs, but this one is:
very bad software engine. 3 years old and I can't max it out with my 8800 GT without bad FPS at times.
LONG loading times. Like a couple of minutes sometimes to load a game. Ridiculous.
GFX look cheap at times, especially considering the poor performance.
Slow story line and boring NPCs.
Yeah I know, an old game now, but I picked it up for my laptop thinking that it will handle it better than oblivion. This game actually taxes my computer much more than oblivion. -
far cry 2 and crysis 2 were terrible
best game has been fallout 3.
those are the only games ive played though of the recent ones. -
Fallout 3 for me, really big disappointment.
-
Worst -
Murder in the Abbey. I'm a freak for point and clicks but this one was just terrible. If you haven't heard of it you just saved yourself 6-10 hours of pain.
Disappointing -
Crysis - A.I. was about as smart as my left shoe
Fallout 3 - Just kinda got bored and I'm not a big fan of the FPS/V.A.Ts combo -
Spore
just dont.....just dont get this....please.
Warhammer Online
PvP is very boring, extremely repetitive, most servers are ghost towns. -
-
The worst game I recent played was Spore, got very boring very fast.
I may go back later, but I was disappointed initially
On the other end of the scale though, I am addicted to grid these days.
The most challenging racer I've played in a long time
Worst game that you recently played..
