I watched a friend more beat Fable 2 and was amused/entertained if that matters to anything.
I don't seem to like games that have a heavy reliance on a crappy inventory system. I like games that have great visuals, good storyline, are immersive, and don't feel slow.
That last bit is the most important, I hope others will be able to relate on that point. The slow part is hard to explain because I LOVE exploring but for some reason only in certain games (HL2 series, Halo, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, and maybe a few others, can tell you about fun things accomplished first in Halo 2, another story though...)
Also don't like games that start off terribly confusing (most advanced RPG's or RTS's) where I can't seem to figure out what the heck is going on or play in a way that is enjoyable.
So please give me your thoughts, feedback, and or questions.

fallout 3 has a complex -ish inventory deal but its easy to figure out but exploreing and killing people are fun
i reccommend it -
Fallout 3 and Mass Effect are the kinds of games are amazing the first time you play them. During the first run through on both games I remember having the time of my life. The only problem with those two are that they a)have a max level cap and b) get EXTREMELY repeatetive, especially if you try and run through the games a second time. Overall, if you can get them cheap and your computer can give you a run for your money, go for it.

fallout 3 is getting a patch to expand the world and level cap last i heard
FEAR 2 is a good just shoot and kill game :/ -
I loved fallout 3 but haven't been able to get into mass effect. Mass effect just feels slow and clunky.

Fallout 3 is getting me back into gaming. That's a good and bad thing. So far, the story seems rich enough to keep me intrigued and the game play is decent.
Unfortunately, I only get an hour here and there to play as I'm working full time and going to school. Plus, my wife HATES it when I play games. -

Of the two, Mass Effect had vastly more replay for me. The level cap gets hit too early on Fallout 3, but I'm on a replay of Mass Effect and having a heck of a time hitting the level cap.
The thing about the replay value of Mass Effect is that the classes do play differently, and the dialogue can unfold in different ways each time. I'll usually do a run through Mass Effect, then go play through another game, then hit Mass Effect again. -

I could not finish both of them before I got bored.
If I had to pick just one I dunno, I consider them a tie. I had some missions in ME that were just impossible for some reason like my guys were almost insta killed and that annoyed me, and the driving around for side missions got old fast.
FO3 was way too much of just a giant map of the same thing, I really liked the game at first, but the story is too short and when you start adventuring out for side quest you just see tons of the same terran & enemies so it gets old fast.
They need to make the FO3 main story much larger and add more variety and it would be a really good game. Oh and a faster method of travel when on foot would be nice, you have to move so slow on foot (running) and that sucks until you find a place then you just warp everywhere and that takes the feel out of the game. -
I loved both games. I got more into Mass Effect as I beat it and played Fallout 3 probably a little over 60 percent and then just kind of left, but I loved every minute of it!

Mass Effect was great, Fallout 3 was boring and unintuitive and had all the same flaws as Oblivion.
Would I enjoy Fallout 3 / Mass Effect?
