    Would This Be A Good Computer For Casual Gaming?

    It's the HP - Pavilion Laptop with Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology, I can't post any links, so just go to BestBuy and enter 9053007 and search. I'm looking to play some older games like F.E.A.R. or the free multiplayer version F.E.A.R. Combat. The specs of the game are,

    Yes, F.E.A.R would run quite well on that setup as would many other games. Its a decent, mid-range card, could even play current games, though at lower settings to remain playable.

    What he said. The 9600M GT is a very decent card and will last you at least a couple of years for gaming.

    Ya, I will give it my thumps up.
    Nice, relatively small, size. 1440x900 rez. Arguably a bad *** vid card. And all for $900? Not bad.

    It has Pico's approval.

    the 9600gt is quite powerful, you will be more than happy with F.E.A.R and many other games :D

    Yeah that is more then enough for a casual gamer. I still do very well on my 8600mGT notebook.

    Should serve you good. If my memory serves me correctly, Im playing Fallout 3 and Dead space at high, 1280x800 res. (Dont quote me on this, this is just roughly recalled)

    with gaming I find that the memory is the most important. So if you have 4+ ram then the game will play good.

    Not sure about that. games are starting to use lower and lower amounts of ram, 2gb is just fine

    Yeah I can get away with 2gb of ram with vista, but then again I game with alot of other applications running at the same time. Hence the 3gb of ram.
