It wont play at settings worth playing. I would pass on it with those specs.

As posted above, it will definitely run. But you won't exactly be having fun online or anything due to low settings/low fps.

try crysis demo first, if you cant run all low with stable 30 fps, then dont bother.

The correct answer is NO. Even on lowest settings, averaging 30fps would be an issue.

Yeah but COD runs at 60fps on a console.

To OP, here is the same spec as you running MW2, very badly.

The game engine is old as well.

Allow my to rephrase, so my message is clearer.

Even on lowest settings, he will not come close to averaging 30fps. I consider less than 30fps with everything on minimum to be an answer of NO.

Its a fast paced MP game u you want 60fps average otherwise it will start to become annoying. Your machine isnt capable of that unfortunately.

I suppose you could, but on low graphics, and not in full screen. also if you plan on playing multiplayer it depends on your connection, go to speedtest.net i have 20 download, and 1 upload. and i have an AMD phenom9650 Quad core 2.30 ghz with 8 gb ram, and 64bit os. and i cant run it in full screen. but it all depends on your upload/download speed.

Your specs have nothing to do with your upload and download speed. With 1 mbps upload and download you should be fine, but that's not what matters. His computer is way below minimum requirements for the game. My friend has a Radeon 4250, and he struggles playing stronghold legends on max details. Your playing would be dull and lifeless, on 640x480 resolution and everything off, it wouldn't be worth it at all.

When you state "not in fullscreen", do you mean playing at lower resolution or in a window? Playing in windowed mode will actually reduce performance.
