I am looking to get the ibm T60 because its pretty much the best notebook out there right now In my opinion. I to thoght some other brands were good untill I actually saw the T60. wow thats some notebook.

My question is, the Only game I play is Counter strike 1.6 Its the best PC game ever and the only game I enjoy. I need to be able to play at 1024x768 in game and the games fps need to be a solid 100.

Will the X1400 on the T60 be able to do this. The laptop will also have 1gb of memory and a 2.0 ghz core duo.

why do you need 100 fps?, an lcd's refresh rate is only 60 hz, meaning it can only display 60 frames per second, when I switched my desktop crt with an lcd, I found that on most games I needed to enable vsync,(caps your fps to your refresh rate) as I got major tearing as my video card was drawing frames much faster than my screen could display

Because thats the performance the game is running at.

    check this out

It matters greatly. if the game is running at 100 fps compared to 60 fps that is more frames and a faster rate of frames. It also means that it will not drop below the 60.

CS 1.6 means counter strike version 1.6

You cant even compare BF2 to CS. Not even in the same leage of gaming.

it does not matter, your lcd screen displays 60 fps, you could run at 10000123fps, or 61 fps, your screen shows 60 fps.....go a good bit over, and you get screen tearing, if you like that go for it, if not, get the best card you can afford, and enable vsync where you need it

Indeed. CS 1.6 runs extremely smooth on my 3 year-old Latitude C640 with only a 32 MB ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 at 800x600 resolution, so you should have no problems. I'm only running a P-4m and 512 MB of RAM too. I'm sure you'll be fine at 1024 resolution.

I guarentee you that it will run easily at 100 fps at that resolution.
