    X1400 unlockable pipelines

    Do you think its possible that the X1400 has hidden pipelines if how would i unlock them?

    I highly doubt there are unlockable pipes and even if there are, you'd have to make a custom BIOS to get at them. And even then, you could mess things up by flashing the BIOS. So I would suggest not pursuing this idea.

    I've only seen unlockable pipes on high-end cards like the desktop X800 - some were sold as the GT, GTO, etc - many people flashed them with an XT BIOS and unlocked the pipes. However there is never ever a guarantee that flashing a card that has unlockable pipes will work because unless the manufacturer has a surplus of good cards (100% working off the line), they usually take an X800 that, for example, only had 12/16 pipes working off the fabrication line and use it as a lower-end card. So if you flashed a card like that it wouldn't work.
