I have a sony VAIO with a X3100 GMA I have been trying to update the drivers for a while now but its not working I went to Intel and tried updating from there but it says I have custom drivers and need to update from computer manufacture but Sony are using very old drivers (7.14.10.1295).I went on to "Can you run it?" It says there that I don't have pixel shader,a vertex shader,or hardware transform and lightingthis is quite annoying as it means I cant run any games, this cant be right because I know that in reality the X3100 does have these so I am putting down to the old drivers that I have.
Is there any way that I can update my drivers?
Thanks.

You can usually update the drivers by downloading the ZIP package of drivers from Intel. Open the device manager and update the drivers from there by pointing to the unpacked folder from the ZIP archive. This works on DELLs at least.
