    Hi,

    How much heat will generate the intel X3100 ? (while not gaming)

    X3100 = IGP = No heat during normal use.

    While gaming, the IGP will utilize the CPU. Then it will generate heat (CPU usage)

    Thanks for the information. I was wondering as the X3100, being an IGP, is describes as very powerfull (for an IGP) .. but well, good to know it doesn't generate significant heat.

    Yea, I own a c700 compaq with the x3100, and there's barely any heat. My computer never goes above 55, even when playing UT2k4. The fan is always between low and off, so the heat obviously is light.
