Has anyone else encountered this issue? I'm trying to extend my desktop from my T61 with the GM965 X3100 integrated graphics onto my 40" lcd set via VGA. Its native resolution is 1920x1080. The driver is not allowing a resolution higher than 800x600 to be projected onto the external monitor. (The native resolution of my notebook is 1680x1050.) Changing the 40" set as the primary display does not resolve the problem.

The driver released before this latest driver also had the same issue (forgot the driver version). The driver before the latest two drivers (this one and the one before it) worked flawlessly on my 40" set, but it had a few issues of its own- When i would come out of standby or resume from a restart, the notebook display would flash 4 consecutive times for no apparent reason (very annoying).
