Found this program created by someone on the 8bitdo forums, I've wanted to use my bluetooth pad with xinput for ages and can't be bothered with the hassle of X360ce, this is a really easy to use solution.

Tested with my 8bitdo FC30 Pro and it works great:

May also need the SCP Driver from DS4WIndows:

Apparently it also works with other generic bluetooth pads.

Yeah I saw the dualshock Xinput wrapper a while ago, AFAIK they don't support generic bluetooth gamepads though and I don't like Sony pads, also their solution isn't particularly elegant. Original thread on the 8bitdo forum is here:

Seeing as it works with the 8bitdo pads in generic BT pad mode it should work with other bluetooth pads like the Ipega 9023, pretty neat if you have a tablet. Gave my Ipega away so can't test it but will try and borrow it back.

8bit do have now incorporated Xinput over bluetooth into their official firmware, link here:

Hold down Power and R1 to pair in XBox mode, works fine but there's a bit too much lag for me at the moment, hopefully this can be rectified in future updates. Still works fine over USB in XBox mode though, I made a micro USB to micro USB cable up and it's lag free. Either way it's a nice portable setup for tablet gaming.
