Hi guys,
When I play games like Diablo 3 my fan gets extremely noisy, also extremely hot even when I put settings on the lowest. Also when I my laptop is not running on the internal battery but is plugged in it gets even noisier. When it's not plugged in the electricity the fan makes less noise. How does this come? And what should I do to make my fan less noisy? Should I open my laptop? And what's up wihh the fan that get less noisy when running on the internal battery? I do see a decrease in peformance but I have no idea where I can change the settings

As time go by the notebook fans tend to get clogged with dust, so that makes it harder for the fans to cool down the PC and that increases the fan speed. I usually clean out my Clevo P170HMx every two months.
Got closed headphones on so i dont really hear it getting louder but i like to keep the temperatures under control. -
the more info you can give us the better.
we need to know the full spec ie.model number/cpu/gpu/hard drive/ram
was the fans noisy like this from new? if so something could have worked lose in transit.
how old is it and if over 3 months old have you cleaned the fans and vents out with compressed air.
what sort of temperatures are you getting.
are you running it on a wooden desk or on a bed or on your knees most of the time.
games should not be played using the battery but always plugged in as this can seriously damage the battery. the noise is lower when you use the battery as it is straining and there is not enough power to run things on full.
battery is for brousing and light things. -

I agree 100% with MrDJ, try cleaning the fans and vents and don't game on battery. More model info is needed as well, and you should also share your cpu/gpu temps. A repaste might be needed if you're experiencing high temperatures.
