Well, my XPS is on its way and I very stoked. For one, I've never owned a laptop and two, since my PC is 4 years old I've been out of the loop on PC games. I picked up the Witcher, are there any other games anyone could recommend?

Orange Box. Never will you find a better deal in all of PC gaming.
    Also, Oblivion is pretty fun.

Orange Box is so much better on PC I don't consider the 360 version to even count.

Sins of a Solar Empire is a solid choice if you love RTS games. Civilisation 4 is a bit old but a solid game for TBS.

I second the Orange Box, also you can now buy the included games such as TF2 separate.
