I'm using 169.28 drivers and here is my stock score and OC'd score respectively:

My OC was set with Rivatuner to 600/800. Now my question is, what more tweaks in Rivatuner do I need to do to get an even higher score? Do I still need to bump the core and memory even more?

    Thx for the advice!

You should've gotten around 4300 marks without OC'ing. Did you run 3DMark06 at 1680x1050 resolution?
Oh, and by the way, the more OC'ing, the higher score. Obviously.

What resolution did you run in?
    With 1024*768 I get about 5850 when overclocked 580/880.¨

I agree with XPS1330 that you should have gotten around 4300-4000 without OC, but its depending on the resolution...

Can you show me how you installed that driver and not get a rejection of the driver not being installed? That is my case and I have the same laptop. Thanks

    make sure the order is:

-download and extract drivers (newest are 169.32) and replace the ini file
-uninstall nvidia drivers through control panel
-reboot into safe mode and run driver sweeper for nvidia video drivers
-reboot into windows and install new drivers
    -reboot machine and enjoy!

I ran this at the default level it starts out at 1280x1024. I guess I will run this at my native and see what happens.

As far as more overclocking, I guess what I really want to know is if I have anymore leeway to bump up the core and memory based off others experiences.

This is only an assumption, but I think since my screen is the 1680 vs your 1440, more effort is required to run the lowest 1024 resolution so naturally my score would be lower. Thats just a hunch mind you.

The natural resolution of the screen shouldn't affect benchmark scores, only the res it is being run at. One exception may be WXGA screens but only because they can't run at the default 1280x1024.

I only say that because I read scores from posts and the people with the 1280 resolutions always seem to have the highest, then the 1440s, then teh 1680's all ran in the 1280 test or 1024, whatever the default is.

But I don't know either way.

Like I said, WXGA screens can only run it at 1280x800 vs. the default 1280x1024 that other higher res screens can do. So naturally those with 1280x800 will have higher scores and that difference in res does skew the scores significantly so.
