Anyone running Oblivion with the dual 8700m GT´s in the 1920x1200 resolution? I have thought of getting me one of these. How does Crysis run at 1280x800 and what settings?

If I were you, I would wait until the 8800M GTX comes out. But, to answer the question, I have no idea.

Yes that´s what I should probably do, though I´m very eager to get this one, my second XPS and I think dual 8700GT would be enough for me for a while. I don´t count on playing every game at 1920x1200, lower resolutions is fine with me.

Remember 1 (one) 8800M GTX is more powerful than 2 (two) 8700M's. Also, not every game is compatible with SLI or optimized in the least.
