Hi,
I get the cute and shiny xps1330 with x3100 with intention to use it for office and movies and to avoid the nvidia's heater inside...
Now everything goes fine, but... when playing ANY video (divx, dvd, mkv... ) it shows flicking lines on the moving objects... it seems as it cannot refresh it or something...
The driver (last approved by DELL for x3100) says it uses only 130 MB and processor is CPU is 2.1 Ghz / 3MB cash and I guess it should be enough to undertake it...
Do you have this issue or could possibly suggest me how to fix it???
10x for the time for reading it![]()

Are you using the max performance battery plan?
-
Check to make sure that you're running the latest drivers.
-
you should go to the Intel website and download the latest driver from intel
since the drivers from laptop producer's website mostly are out of date.

And make sure your screen is set to the highest refresh rate available. -
Hi again,
I checked all of these up. My battery plan is 'dell frecommended' and not the 'max performance' one.
As for drivers - up to now I used 7.14.... - the last one approved by Dell and today installed the one from the link you kindly posted, dukka (screen refresh rate is also ok - 60hz - the only possible btw), and still no improvement. on this ...
Just every time there is a fast moving object on the screen it is not clear but dashed with 2-3 flicking lines as it is buiding up the image...
