Does anyone here use the Xbox 360 controller for PC Gaming? I am considering investing in one to make my playing of emulators such as Kega Fusion and Project 64 and the few basic games I play that little bit easier. From your experience, what is compatibility of the controller like with recent games and emulators (especially those that I've listed)? Is it easy enough to setup on Vista and is it compatible with older games such as Final Fantasy 8 (PC edition)?

Thank you for your time and help!

I have one under XP working flawlessly with modified XBCD drivers (as the default Microsoft ones do not have control or deadzone config). But with Vista, I saw my mate use it and by default it seems to be fine when he was playing GTA SA
