I realize this isn't really the place for this, but I like the opinion of a great many people here so I figured I would ask.

I currently have an Xbox 360(It was a core, but I bought it used with the stuff a Pro/Prem came with). It noisy, and loud and the DVD drive door gets stuck, and it likes to scratch my damn games. In November there are a few games coming out for only 360, or where it makes more sense for me to buy it on the 360 rather than my PS3 or PC. I have to say, I also hate the white color of the Xbox 360, and it's a huge eyesore in my house, nothing matches it at all, unless I put it in the kitchen....

So anyways, should I buy a new one, an elite maybe, or maybe buy one of those complete case change things, or just wait? What are you thoughts and opinions on this?

    NO!
BTW AFAIK you can claim your warranty to microsoft, cost shipping fee and +- 2weeks time to get replacement unit

Yeah I suppose I could do that, but I run teh chance of the unit then becoming one that actually dies, and doesn't just have a crummy DVD drive heh. And it would still be white and ugly :(

But that is an option I guess I should look into more.

    Oh hmm...interesting pad idea.

Well I would go the PS3 route, more so in your case since you already have a 360.

Definitly save your money. Your better off if you really hate the color that much to get a replacement case. Your better off using the warranty then purchasing an elite or a PS3. In the end it's your decision, that's just what I would do.

I already have a PS3 actually, and my cousin has a Wii and is buying the games I'd get for one, so just steal his heh.

Guess there isn't really an easy answer in my mind.

Without being biased or a fanboy, I think this holiday season is going to belong to the PS3 in terms of games (Not that the XBox 360 is lacking any games this holiday, either; just that a lot of quality titles are exclusive to the PS3 this holiday season. For example, UT3 is coming out first on the PS3).

So... bottom line: Save your money.
