I got this rockin' new laptop and ready to play some new games. I've read some about Xbox Game Pass for PC and EA Play Pro. Anyone have one of these? Either one worth getting or should I just buy what games I want?

I have game pass. It's pretty decent. I can cross play a lot of the games with friends on the Xbox.

Not sure about EA Pro. But I think the base form of it comes with GP Ultimate.

I'm leaning strongly that direction since it includes EA Play.

yeah I saw that I looked it up after your post.....tons of great Ea games and I think game pass includes mfs 2020 and I think that would be cool as its the only game pushing hardware and being photorealistic....thats if you have the hardware i just have a 1650 right now i think id get 30fps on medium at 1080p.....you however could max it.....would be cool if you bought game pass and showed us some pictures..maybe egypt...I say that as the game runs like a photo ala mpeg

also if your reading this old NBRers come back ... we need you dont just read contribute

oh you tech heads....i guess if it helps

So I got Xbox Game Pass with EA Play. The first month is $1. When I downloaded the app from the Microsoft Store I got 30 days free with a new laptop so no pay again until October. I'm downloading MS Flight Sim now, 600 terabyte of game and update. I should have it installed by October.

Its very useful if you want to try out many games at once without paying for them for each one and the ability to crossplay with console players. I took advantage of the 30 day free trial that came with my Legion and cancel before the free trial expired. EA Play is the same thing but with EA exclusive games.

I'm thinking it is too. I've played 3 games already and will probably never finish any of them. :D

It's pretty much just a constantly rotating backlog... Between GamePass and Epic handing out games left and right there's enough at least decent games there to keep occupied for a long time. I never bought Hades, that just hit GamePass...
