    Hello,

I have a question. is it possible to attach a Xbox 360 in such a way that the Xbox sends the image on the sceen of my (new) laptop.

If that is possible what kind of jack/connection do i need for it?

    Thanks a lot

i meant that it suppose to have a "video input" port built into the laptop.... some entertainment notebook such as the Qosmio, tend to have (eg.) "composite in" port built in to the notebook... if not then you probably need some external tv card

And since most monitors can output hd resolutions it's a win-win situation. If you plan to use the laptop you need this.

You're going to want to use the gamebridge since most TV tuners have a bit of lag/delay.

Nothing you get is going to be HD. Everything posted here is going to give you a standard 4:3 image

I have yet to see a notebook with VGA, Component, or HDMI input

The gamebridge doesn't support the PAL 60 format, at least my doesn't - the 1400 model. So it's no good for games such as Forza 2 where you can only run it in PAL 60 mode here in the UK/Europe or pretty much any Xbox 360 game these days, of course if your american I don't think that applies as the US 360's output in NTSC anyway afaik...

I'd recommend a geniatech C8000 TV tuner card and use Dscaler.

Using Dscaler you can change the aspect ration to fit your monitor and change the input/ouput format to PAL 60.
