Hello,
I have a question. is it possible to attach a Xbox 360 in such a way that the Xbox sends the image on the sceen of my (new) laptop.
If that is possible what kind of jack/connection do i need for it?
Thanks a lot

You'll need a External TV card
-
depends if your laptop has video input or not..

i meant that it suppose to have a "video input" port built into the laptop.... some entertainment notebook such as the Qosmio, tend to have (eg.) "composite in" port built in to the notebook... if not then you probably need some external tv card

airholland, thats a genius idea, I just have a random 19" LCD widescreen doing absolutely nothing next to me right now.

And since most monitors can output hd resolutions it's a win-win situation. If you plan to use the laptop you need this.

adaptec game bridge!! thats how i do it to save room in college. http://justdeals.stores.yahoo.net/avc1400nr.html

ive got a usb haupage tv card that can also do tv capture i think
i was sorting a cubboard out the other day and found my old snes and dreamcast stashed away, would i be able to run my snes through the card ?
what would i use to see the picture on the laptop, the haupage tv software or what ?
thanks -
You're going to want to use the gamebridge since most TV tuners have a bit of lag/delay.

Nothing you get is going to be HD. Everything posted here is going to give you a standard 4:3 image
I have yet to see a notebook with VGA, Component, or HDMI input -
thank you all for the advice!

I'd recommend a geniatech C8000 TV tuner card and use Dscaler.
Using Dscaler you can change the aspect ration to fit your monitor and change the input/ouput format to PAL 60.
