    Hi

I am thinking of buying a Zepto 6615

    15.4" WSXGA Crystal Clear 1680x1050
    Intel® 1,83Ghz Core2Duo T5600
    1024MB DDR2 PC5300 RAM
    120GB 5400rpm SATA
    DVDRW Dual Layer drive
    NVidia® Geforce Go 7600 / 512MB
    Intel® Pro Wireless 3945ABG
    Integrated 1.3Mpixel webcam
    Built-in Bluetooth®

They say 3600 3D 05 Marks. Has anyone got one of these, any comments? Good for gaming? Or bought from the company in general?

Wow looks like a really good deal. Consider upgrading to 2.0ghz and 2048MB of RAM and 100gb 7200rpm hitachi hard drive. Its really worth the extra 115 pounds.

I will do the Ram at a later date, month or two. Will the hard drive make much difference? Really stretching my budget already so really can't afford the processor really or the hard drive...... you have to stop somewhere! Processor much differnce you think?

The processor and hard drive won't matter nearly as much as the RAM. Just remember that the CPU is the hardest thing to upgrade later... the RAM and hard drive are relatively trivial. Get as fast of a CPU as you think you need, that you can afford. And if you can get the RAM all in one bank instead of in two chips (1x1GB, rather than 2x512), you'll be much better off for upgrading later, because you won't have to throw out the memory included.

    thanks

also looking at the higher screen resolution......this will not hinder graphcal performance if the processor is not top end?

On price for the specs purely, you can't complain. If you haven't already, the Zepto satisfaction thread, and there are also other threads on the 6615 specifically, once people actually get their hands on it and use it day to day

But watch out with Zepto's, I have read that they become very hot. Something you might want to consider.
