Zero Punctuation reviews are fun and entertaining. Yahtzee often goes overboard in his disdain for the game, but being an avid gamer you get the feeling he probably likes the game more than he lets on.

But with DA2, his descriptions are right on target. It's not exaggerated, it's perfect. Every complaint I had he addressed. It's amazingly poignant and humble. He could have been a lot more harsh in his review, but instead, it's exactly how I would describe the game. It's refreshing to see a review that's truthful and not dripping of soggy EA dollars shoved down the reviewer's throat by the massive advertisements paid by EA for a month.

Definitely not worth the 100% I paid for Dragon Age: Origins and Awakening. I'll just wait till it's 75% at least ._.

I bought it - for the PC, mind you - and still liked it. Yes, it was pretty different from DA:O, but it stood on its own as a solid-enough game.

    i loled. thx for sharing

Its not a bad game at all if you like the genre.
I enjoyed the story and all.

Only really annoying stuff is obviously dungeons that repeat itself. Other then that i wished the game was longer and that speak FOR the game imo.

Yep banned for cloning other members by taking their avatar and sig as his own, plus he was a member who was banned from NBR before, but was now using an alias, so the mods just caught up with him, was a matter of time.

    Nice review though. lol

Pretty much agree with this Dude.............and I only played 15 mins. of the demo !

Another great franchise, regurgitated to the mediocrity, demanded by consoles players !

OMG me too, I only got around 35 hours on Nightmare with all quests done, even with the Prince of Starkhaven DLC, such is the age of DLC. They release only half of the game and release the other half in bits.. Hope The Witcher 2 and Elder Scrolls Skyrim won't be like this, but still, I could honestly say I enjoyed DA2. :D

Its too bad bioware would stoop that low to mess up a great series, makes me kinda wonder if you all are being a bit over critical, judging from biowares track record I have a hard time believing they'd let something bad hit the market. ALL there games have been good up to this point I guess..... Although I will be the first to admit that sometimes the first game in a series can make it hard to follow up.

If you play warrior with 3 ranged supporters — you never need to pause — you complete the game insanely fast. Its actually quite fun how much warrior is better compared to anything.

I was going Warrior aoe templar-reaver build + miriam dps + anders support + varric controller / dps. Just charge in, smack-scythe-whirlwind-whatever-everything dead.
    And that was on hard.

I played both warrior and archer on nightmare. Archers have 100% crit, 80% defense, don't need to chase anything and they can perma-stun.
If Isabella could use a bow that would be epic.

Can you go in depth on the archer part? i mean i played with varric all the time but it never felt particularly strong. Another thing that bothered me is that rogue actually doesnt seem to have a lot of talents that could be good for ranged, no?

Just get anything that involves attack speed and crit and you're set ._. Especially for archers, just put in all dex :p The rest is positioning

Put a lot of skill points into 'archery' except -90% cooldown and +10% attack or something. And then .... Activate a stance from the duelist tree (or bianca's song? for varrick) and then quckly press the keys that activate all 3 archer stances :D I doubt they tested that lol. Now you get a lot of bonuses to stun, critical, etc. Pump dex and cunning, but keep in mind the mages' stances that add critical chance so don't put too much into dex. Also get a bow that adds 5% to stun. With that you don't even need talents.
