    Hey... Im looking for a new game and have stumbled across Zoo Tycoon 2... but it says on the website that i've been on that it runs on XP, 2000 etc... and Vista is not in the list.
    The Sims 2 works on my Vista laptop, so will Zoo Tycoon 2?
    I do have Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, but that doesnt play on my laptop!
    I would prefer to buy one of the 'Tycoon' games that says on the back of the case that it runs on Vista... are there any out there yet?
    I did look at railroad tycoon 3, but thats the same thing... the system requirements say that it only runs on Win 2000 I think!
    Please help!!!

    Well, it looks like Zoo Tycoon 2 came out in 2004 -- well before Vista was introduced ...

    most programs that comes from a powerful source (meaning by that, sum1 with money, like game creators) will eventually work in vista with compatibility.
    u should try to install rollercoaster 3 with compatibility wxp/2000 and see how that works

    I have rct3 running on a vista 64 machine...without doing anything. Make sure you have the compatibility fixes from Microsoft.

    they made a zoo tycoon 2????? damn, why not make a new dinopark tycoon2, that game was awesome.

    and yes, it should run.
