You won't be able to play any new games that require a dedicated GPU. Crysis, Bioshock, World in Conflict etc will all be out of the question.

Well definitely not Crysis. Most computers can not run Crysis well. You would have to have an 8800 GTX!

Well, the 8600m GT will run fine on low-med res with low-med details for crysis. Just don't expect it run 50+fps, but 15-30 is do-able.

Here's a long but useful thread on the topic of the X3100 and games:

The Dell Latitude 630 is a well built business notebook. Even though it is not a gaming machine, it is more solid and of higher quality than many mainstream gaming notebooks. If it is any consolation :)

Get a desktop...u already own a notebook...why waste more money?
for example i have a notebook with integrated graphics..enough for decent gaming like CS, CS:source, Halo, HL2 ,

    This X'Mas i m building a desktop with 8800 ....

what do u think about that?

8800 GTX SLI will cost you well over $3,000. you should def go for a desktop. it's a lot cheaper and you wont have sweaty hands playing BF2142 from warm palmrests.
