    i have a Toshiba satellite A200:

    T5450 1.66 GHz
    2gb ram
    ati hd2600

my GPU drivers are latest from toshiba website ATI Windows Vista 8.413.3.0 date 06/11/07

so my question: is this driver any good or shoud i download standard ATI drivers and mod them for my laptop??

anyway i play COD2 at textures ultra, x4, 1280x800, dx9, anisotrophic filtering, and my frames are from 10-30
10 being when i drop a smoke and with 4-5 my allies vs 4-5 enemies
so is this FPS ok considering my config?? or would i get better frames with standard drivers?

ATi do not have official Mobility Radeon drivers. You'll have not much choice but to mod them. Up till now, Asus is still stuck at the old drivers from last year.

Mod them, no point in using old drivers when there are new perfectly stable ones out there!

CoD2 maxed out at 1280x800 and 4x AA is a pretty tough on any mobile graphics card...i'd be pretty happy. Comparing to my 8400gs, I get 10-30fps running 1024x768 low no AA dx9! The hd2600 has similar performance to the 8600gt I believe. Maybe get rid of the AA, which won't make too much difference at native res and you'll get a far smoother experience.
