I have the mobile intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family and I would like to alocate more memory to this device and I can not find out how. I know on XP it could be changed in the bios but on vista it seems next to imposible.

The information i pulled up on my computer says:
    Driver Version: 7.15.10.1502
Operating System: Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium* , Service Pack 1 (6.0.6001)
    Default Language: English
    DirectX* Version: 10.0
    Physical Memory: 1978 MB
    Minimum Graphics Memory: 64 MB
    Maximum Graphics Memory: 797 MB
Graphics Memory in Use: 86 MB
    Processor: x86 family 6 Model 23 Stepping 6
    Processor Speed: 1995 MHZ
    Vendor ID: 8086
    Device ID: 2A42
    Device Revision: 07

I have no idea if I can change it at all but I would like to make the video card a 256 or higher. Any help would be great. Thanks.

    Don't bother..

It adjusts itself for what it needs.

Is there a program that is refusing to run because it wants to see 256MB of Video RAM?
