Sorry, i remember something about the PSX which improved due to the programming language. Cant remember wat thou, so i assume it was the graphic.. lol... Anyway, i think given 1 years time from now, we will know which has higher limits than the others. (Still grabing on the fact that even if the toolchain is release, nothing can be done until the whole package , aka the developement kit is released.)

If I recall, one of the bigger shortcomings that the naysayers had about the original PlayStation was that it was weak at 2D.....
Then Konami made Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, and they got quiet real quick. -

I am really temped to get a PS3 - what with future Linux abilities (and already wireless keyboard and mouse support), upgradeable hard drive (uses any 2.5"), PSP connectivity, and the Blu-Ray...next year when it's at a normal price it might really be worth it. It's really just a cheap, high-end desktop with a blu-ray drive in it.
You even get HDMI monitors now, so there isn't even a need to have a TV. You can have your notebook and PS3 connected on the same LCD monitor. -
I'm getting a Wii. When the price of the PS3 goes down, I might get one. I'm sure MGS4 and GT5 will push me in that direction.
any notebook with graphics on par with PS3?
