    Hey,
I would like to know if you guys know great old games that I should try with my Toshiba R100 (Trident XP4 32 mb dedicated).

I already got risk II, Baldur's gate I and II, Ultima 9, Might and magic 9, CoD 1 and age of wonder 1.

I like rpgs, fps, and TBS (but not HoMM)

    Thanks!

How does Call of Duty run on the Trident?

I doubt Black Hawk down would be an enjoyable experience either...The Trident is a terrible card for games, even those that it just meets the minimum requirements.

    Hmmm, I'd try:

    FPS

    Unreal Tournament '99
    Soldier of Fortune
Mortyr (just playing this now on my old p3 actually, love it)
    Half Life
    Kingpin
    Thief I & II
    Deus Ex
    No One Lives Forever
    Quake II & III
    Sin
    Alien Vs Predator
    Swat 3
    Codename Eagle
    Red Faction
    Blood
    Blood II
    Jedi Knight
    Return to Castle Wolfenstein*
    Medal of Honor Allied Assault*
    Soldier of Fortune II*
    Jedi Knight II*

I don't know if there's any point going older then that (>1998), but you have some great games like Duke 3D, Outlaws, Redneck Rampage, Dark Forces etc.

*May not work, depending on how well COD works you'll know as they all use the same engine

Might and Magic IX was such an awesome game...I remember being so addicted to that, trying to max-out my characters and gettin lyches. :D Good times.

Unholy, I would have to recommend one of the greatest games of all-time for you: minesweeper. This trisyllabic epitome of enrapturing bliss has brought countless computer geeks to their knees; in tears, and in orgasmic gratitude towards the arbitrary point-click-you-lose, time-passing moments for centuries untold.

Turn-based strategy and no one's mentioned Civilization III? Arguably the greatest strategy game of all time, and it would certainly run on those specs. I've run it on a Matrox Millenia G200 (8 MB dedicated) with only slightly jerky graphics, and 1 GHz should be enough for Large maps.

I wouldn't try Civilization IV due to only having 512 MB of RAM; it needs at least 1 GB with XP to run well.
