Exactly as the title says, is there any way to get a resolution (ex. 1600x900) while gaming on my 1080p screen? the only widescreen options i get are the full 1080p (usually too much) and the 720p (much too little).

    Thanks

Depends on the game. Many games these days let you specify a custom resolution in a config file, even if it's not natively available in the game's graphics options.

Also try adding this to the games launch shortcut at the end ''- vidmode 1600, 900'', also try ''+szx 1600 +szy 900''

As Mastershroom suggested, take a look in the .ini settings for resolution settings.
