anybody running fantasy wars on their notebook?

I had problems installing this on my Vostro 1500 and wondering if it's related to it being a laptop somehow.
Anybody sucessfully playing this?

unfortunately I don't have a screenshot or write down the error message but before I try to install I was just curious if anyone else had a problem because I understand some games won't run or run poorly on a notebook like FIFA 08 for example.

 

hmm ok i don't know the game so i cant really help u with that. but the notebook u have should be able to run that game i think, i mean tha hardware shouldnt make a difference just because it is in a notebook. but if u have problems installing it than it really should note make any difference on a notebook/desktop.. why can't u install it? Error?

What kind of install problems are you having, as in, where exactly does the install fail?

 

I will try again tonight. It actually installed but when I ran launched the game it gave me a cryptic message, which I didn't write down.

I installed it at work to see if it was a bad file, it wouldn't run here either saying my graphics card didn't support shaders - a 128mb ATI card.

another poster above said he's running it fine so I guess it's me.

I`ll just try to continue here this conversation since i have some problems with the game too. It`s not that i cant install it but i want to get to a console and i cant. I found out the same problem few times before with different games. I switched language of keyboard, tried multipress of different keys but with no luck. I believe it`s the notebooks issue and i dont know how to approach the problem.
