    anyone know how the 880m/780m handles games at 21:9 2560x1080?

    I have an asus PB298Q and its great for multitasking! but i would like know if games can run at a decent fps with the graphical settings set relatively high before i pull the trigger on getting a high end notebook

    It's easy enough to find 1080p benches for most games... look for whichever game you're interested in, see how the card or a similar one performance-wise can handle it at 1080p, then adjust your estimate down 25-30%.
    That being said, your definition of 'decent fps' and relatively high settings can very wildly from anyone else's.
    Fact is, there's no faster card at the moment. If this one isn't enough, the only thing that will do is having two of them at once.
    But really, you should be able to max out almost anything out there with that card, even at that resolution.

    It should be able to however, the 880MX (maxwell) is probably worth the wait... It definetly will be able to do so :)
