    i just tried to play it on my 8800 GT, and it is hell of a lot laggier than COD4.

    i had to lower resolution to 1280 x 800 and disable AA, dynamic lights, shadows to play.
    and its STILL chops sometimes.

    COD 4 runs fine in high settings in 1680 x 1050.

    whats wrong with this game, quantum of solace??

    It could be it needs updates that have not come out yet. Or you need drivers.

    Do you own the actual game? If you do could you give some opinions on it's gameplay? I didn't buy it because the demo was the worst demo I've ever played in years, and the performance is pretty bad compared to COD4 on the demo, but not too bad.

    The demo ran in 1280x800 with no shadows and all else max pretty badly too, around 25fps on an 8700m GT.

    game is dissapointing.
    1. the game doesnt run smoothly, so i have to lower the graphics to a point where i hate the game without even playing it.
    2. each level is random and has no connections to each other, there is NO FLOW in the story.

    if they fix it so i can play like COD4, then i'll give it another try, but it sucks so far.

    every games made out of movies pretty much sucked. well, for me it sucked.
