I've been playing for about a week now on hard. I love it. I'm currently in Act 3. It's great that even though it's rather linear compared to games like Oblivion, there is still a lot of the freedom. And the combat system, although seemed awkward at first, is rather good. I just wish there were more variety in equipment.

Having fun yet Ennea? One of the original gripes in the unenhanced edition was that armour, weapons and items were quite limited. On the other hand the power of the Witcher swords and fighting styles made other weapons unnecessary, the main character probably couldn't do all those acrobatics if he was dressed in the clankers the Order of the Flaming Rose Knights wear.

Just got it, and started it. So far half way decent. RPG's have never been my type of game, but usually pick up highly rated games in other genres just to see what it's all about. Liked Oblivion quite a bit, so figured I might enjoy this one too.

Actually if I'm not mistaken the number of items and armour haven't changed at all in the enhanced edition, they've improved other aspects of the game which were pitfalls in the original.

To be honest the Witcher armour you eventually make and the swords you're granted are more than enough to finish the game with.

I played it off and on while I was deployed. I enjoyed it quite a bit. In fact, I think I may need to reinstall and play through it all the way.
