Yes, you will notice in increase in performance. Also, there is a desktop section you could post in next time. (Could a mod move this over there maybe?)

As far as how much you OC, you should do some research first on 1) overclocking in general (if you haven't yet) and 2) what other people have OCed that card too. It varies from card to card so it is best to look at what other people are doing so you can get a feel for the potential of the card.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions.

well in my opinion you won't - it's still not that good for running those titles in dx10 (provided you're thinking of res. higher than 1024x768) as mostly many exhausting features will be activated and so the cards might have problems with them... but you'll get a few frames per second more in the dx9 mode...

He is right in that OCing is only good for a few more extra FPS, don't expect to see a dramatic increase in performance, but there should be a little. You need to decide if it is worth your time and the hassle. Some games tend to not like OCed equipment anyway.

well my short adventure with overclocking (now i'm mostly underclocking my stuff as i'm not playing that much and not in the newest titles) leaves me to believe that +2-3 fps isn't that worth the possible problems (battery, heating etc.). yes you can overclock and gain magnificent results, but many titles will still work as lmark put it.
