i've got this major headache... i've installed some 8.692 ATI drivers, and now i want to update to the latest 10.7, which is 8.7xx version. I've tried just about everything, deleting, driver sweeper, uninstalling and reinstalling. Device manager keeps saying that the best drivers are already installed, and so does the crazy Catalyst install manager.

ati drivers are supposed to be installed just over the old one...no uninstalling or anything.
