hi, i have just bought myself an acer 6290. It has an ati mobility HD3650. I tried to use this computer to play a blue ray of my 32inch lcd TV but it stopped and told me that it had an incompatable driver. I looked on the ati website for the driver download and i found one for the 3600 series but it was found in the radion catigory which i am geussing is for desktops and not in the mobility category. Do the desktop drivers work on laptops?
    Thanks for any answers.

You can install the desktop drivers if you use the Mobility Modder on them.
    otherwise, google "ati mobile catalyst"

Note: I believe you need to connect your TV via HDMI if you want to play a Blu-ray movie.

Also, what program were you using to play the Bluray disc?
