I had ATITool installed before I installed the drivers. It's still installed and is still working. I haven't noticed any difference in the drivers at all. And I dont know much about hypermemory, so I'll leave that to someone else.

ATITool is for overclocking. This is the first time I've gotten to use the CCC, since this is the first official one fore laptop cards, so I may be mistaken, but I dont believe there is an overclocking option in CCC.

The built in OC Tool in the Omega 5.9 is actually the ATI Tray Tools, which I believe he is referring too... There are a lot of issues with ATT and x700 for some reason, it refuses to work for me either.
tonyy, I recommend you get the Omega drivers ( www.omegadrivers.net) anyway, as they were better for my x700 both performance wise as well as fixing some issues.

I hadn't actually given 3dMark a spin on this computer yet, so I downloaded it and with Omega 5.9s I got:

    Main Test Results
    3DMark Score 2404 3DMarks
    CPU Score 3642 CPUMarks

Those results are just using Omega 5.9s, no OCing of graphics at all. I don't find it worth the extra heat to do it to be honest. It runs any games I play just fine, so not gonna bother.
Other than that, I have just tried to keep drivers etc current, disabled devices/services I don't need. Not sure what else I have done to be honest... I just do things all the time and lose track ;)
