Use throttlestop and follow the guide

Is it possible that by doing a higher undervolting (for example: from -130mv to -150mv) the temperatures increase rather than decrease?
Why should the undervolting of the GPU also be carried out? -
something that nobody says in tutorials, but on throttlestop after setting everything up you have to press turn on? must the miniature icon be green or red?
in many videos also, the undervolt of the integrated GPU is also applied to throttlestop, should I do it?
-
The tutorials are not going to tell you everything but yeah you need press turn on so your undervolt settings will be activated.
You dont have to undervolt the IGPU but if you want to go for it but dont undervolt it the same as the CPU, Set it at -50.8mv -
Are there any contraindications in the IGPU undervolting? if it can lower the temperatures further without altering the performance, I do it.
I also read that it's appropriate to set at least 2 profiles for laptops, is it really that important? -
If HWinfo tells you cpu is undervolted, then it is. Once you go to FIVR page, set everything correctly and press OK, it's done.
The profiles are self explanatory, if you want to use them, fine, if not also fine. One reason you may want to use them is for example much better battery life by limiting turbo and increasing undervolt to maximum, another one maybe good for gaming where turbo is set to maximum or even locked, but less undervolting so computer doesn't crash under full load and high cpu temperature. Since every computer is different and people use their computers differently, there are no strict rules, but rather general guidelines and you need to do your homework experimenting and see what works for you. I have one general profile that I use most of the time, which I don't touch, but when I want to experiment I use other profiles without messing the one I know works well. -

Wait for UncleWeb to answer your question, I don't know specific reason for this switch, maybe it just turns settings on that page, like set multiplier? It doesn't affect my undervolting either and it makes sense, undervolting is set and forget kind of a deal, it would make no sense whatsoever to turn it off ever, if set properly. On the other hand other settings like disable turbo, set multiplier etc. you may want to adjust and turn on/off depending on needs, but it's just my guess since my primary use for this program is undervolting and I haven't experimented much with other settings.
