heres the link: EA Store (US) Online Store
also has the battlefield 2 collection at 50% off (=$15)
-
once again us in the uk get ripped off as its still almost $60 here.
-
Just a random question here, but if you buy it through the EA store can you link it to Steam and download it/install it from there instead like L4D for example?
Edit: Searched around and it seems that this game doesn't support this. Can anyone confirm? -
It should work...
-
No, it won't link to Steam
Only games found in this list can be registered on Steam. -
Thanks for the link bro.

Good deal. Think I'll just hold out for the new moh though. Then you got blackops coming out soon, so bad company 2 will be old news pretty soon.
Amazon has the physical version for $29 plus free two day with prime. -

Good deal, I think I'll just have to purchase this. +rep
-
And this happens the day after I buy it for $30 on steam... :l
-
I'll hold on a little bit more before buying on Steam. In theory this should make a Steam sale nearer.
-
Is there any benefit to buy this on Steam instead of from EA?
Sorry, I'm new to PC gaming. -
Nothing out of the ordinary really. I just prefer Steam games. I like how their whole system works and like having all my games in one place. Plus, all my games are from Steam so I rather keep it organized like that.

Steamcloud for saving your games
No disks to lose or scratch
Games are automatically updated
Don't need an optical drive on your machine
People either absolutely love Steam, and others hate it. It's a personal decision for everyone, but most people go all-or-nothing.
It would be interesting to see how the community is split; my own perception is a slight majority might prefer Steam over the retail CD crowd. -
i would have get it but no money now
-
Steam is nice, but I like having the physical cd.
-
I prefer Steam if the game is cheap enough, like the crysis pack for $15 for example, or when I got flashpoint for $4.50. I think digital downloads should be cheaper since it doesn't come with the retail box. But with amazon pricing about the same and usually offering free shipping, I'd pick Amazon over steam...but I'd pick steam over Amazon if it was considerably cheaper.
-
Doesn't Amazon take like a week to get it to you, though?

BFBC2 does not have Steam Cloud Support. The only real benefit you're getting from Steam is having it attached to your steam account.
the EA one gives you re-download options, and you can add it to steam to get the steam overlay the game auto-updates and has it's own server browser.
bad company 2 $20 at EA store
