I kno this may be a dumb Question but I would like to kno if BF2142 will run on a 1.6 core2duo. I mean the reason why is because in BF2 you had to have a 1.7 min to run it... now since it uses the same engine, im not sure if a 1.6 core2duo will do the job... And if it does, will it be worth even having a 1.6 latop just to play BF. (for the record, the notebook has a gforce go 7600 and 2 gigs ram) :)

Your Core Duo will be more then fine running it. It relies more on your RAM & GPU. I know this because I have the demo.

I would hazard a guess to guess that it means a 1.7GHz P4 or Athlon. Not current generation.

Your CPU is fine, the minimum requirements stated are always based on generic P4's and Athalon XP's.

I run it on a 1.83Ghz Core Duo all maxed with 2xAA.
