    i think punkbuster is kicking me (on battlefield 2142) for forcing a wide screen resolution. i am running windows xp. can anyone verify this and/or provide a solution?

    or maybe it was kicking me for going into the options menu?

    maybe like having too high a latency when it downloads the server list?

    i dont like how punkbuster is kicking me without giving me an error message...

    can anyone help?

    Punkbuster won't kick you for that... but you most likely need to update your punkbuster manually. Use google to find their update site.

    correct. forcing a widescreen resolution wont get you kicked. forcing a wide screen fov will tho.

    there are alot of issues with bf2142 and punkbuster if you need more help go to totalbf2142.com they have a great tech support/help section. Take a look at the stickys it has the answer on how to solve your problem step by step.
