Just looking into overclocking my Go7300 and was wondering which is the best program to do it? Ive heard of Ati Tool but does that work with Nvidia?
Also any links to step by step guides would be much appreciated!

try nvidia cool bits....or Rivia Tuner...........the ATI tool works only with ATI cards

thanks for the quick reply deedeeman.
What about the modded drivers at TweaksRUs? Are they any good? Is the 7300 supported? Do they allow safe overclocking? -
well i use moded drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com and they have this built in utility in the driver control panel that allows me to overclock my card...look at the screenshot i attached

and yes they (laptopvideo2go) drivers and Overclocking will work with your go 7300
-
i strongly reccommend drivers from laptopvideo2go.com because they are the best modded drivers for nvidia cards

Thanks deedeeman, thats very helpful.
When overclocking, do i just increase the core/mem by 10MHz and test with that utility untill i get errors, then i reduce the core/mem by 5HMz and thats it overclocked?
edit: just found a guide with a step by step!
deedeeman, what driver version from that website are you using? Theres so many! -
anyone know whats the best oc app for ati cards?
-
ATI tray tools is best for ATI cards, in my opinion.
-
thanx. is that compatible with x1400 gpu with omega drivers?
-
ATT won't work properly with 6.4 and 6.5 drivers. That includes all non-ati drivers too.

oh...and im using driver version 87.08...they are the most stable on my system (i havent tried the newest ones) and im happy with them....they leech out the best performance from my card.........though you can try other ones.....im not sure which ones are the most stable for a go 7300....maybe you can try a few and check em out??? -
ok before i start overclocking and overheating my system, im gona undervolt the CPU first to reduce heat a bit.
I know its going slightly off topic, but whats the best undervolting app for a Core Duo?
When undervolting, do i lower the voltage (how do i know by how much?) then run a stress test for each core? Like do i have to run two instances of Prime95 and assign to each seperate core?
best GPU overclocking program from your experience?
