Interesting. I guess with a hacked driver you can enable SLI over the PCIe bus and it works okay in Fire Strike. But in actual games that require more synchronization and data transfer between GPUs, performance would be terrible with the lack of a dedicated connector.

Ok thank you for the Information.

Now we see the best Non Desktop Performance is:

1.) Alienware Area 51m with Alienware amplifier with a 2080ti (Titan rtx not testet)

We heard 2080 sli mobile not correct.

Thats the reason that your posts here are not count. Sry only valid gaming and benchmark Systems count here.

lol no. I would be surprised if Stadia still exists in 5 years considering google's track record of shutting down their projects as soon as they are a bit unsuccessful

nope cant beat it. i still got 1070 and dont plan to upgrade unless 3080 works in the machine, and it is a considerable boost. so far by the looks of it if nvidia going to use 7nm on all new GPU then it might be worth considering. im all for lower temp/fan noise for extra performance, especially if they can run at lowest pstate with a massive power reduction will help a lot with my battery profile.

Since we are talking about eGPU graphics scores, i'm pretty sure " more the bandwidth of the eGPU interface, the better the scores". Firestrike scores will improve the most because of higher fps.

AFAIK Alienware Amplifier runs at x4 PCIe 3.0. My eGPU setup runs at x8 PCIe 3.0. In theory, I win lol.

Of course i am not going to waste money on a 2080Ti eGPU setup, i am out of competition but here's my 1070 scores in Firestrike for comparison with other eGPU's:

PS. Don't mind the CPU. It's a bit old but it can get the job done.
