    im looking for a laptop that can play battlefield 2, AND is under £500 ($1000 for the americans). this might sound crazy i know but i kind of have a reallllly tight budget.

    need all the help i can get :(

    for less than $1000, you probably have to settle with X1400 or Go7400, i can only think of Inspiron E1505 (6400)

    No way can you get a 6400 in the UK for £500. They start at £530 and include only integrated graphics and is £650 with a x1400

    look at hp... they start at like 565 here ni the us and my configuration cost about $900 then if you need to later you can upgrade more ram

    Dell here anyway have a Turion X2, 1Gb Ram, 120gb Hard Drive and X1150 - can run BF2 on low settings, costs 699 euro (469 UK)
